A quick and flavorful pasta dish featuring fresh cherry tomatoes, garlic, and herbs, perfect for a vibrant meal.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 12 oz penne pasta, uncooked

Vegetables

  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

Aromatics

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Oils & Fats

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Spices & Seasonings

  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Cheese & Herbs

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions 

  • Cook 12 oz of penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add cherry tomatoes, cook 5-7 minutes until soft.
  • Stir in red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper; simmer 2-3 minutes.
  • Add cooked pasta, toss to coat with sauce.
  • Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan, basil, and parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with additional herbs or cheese before serving.
