Ingredients

Salad Ingredients

  • 2 pints cherry tomatoes halved
  • 8 ounces small mozzarella balls (pearl or bocconcini)
  • cup fresh basil leaves torn into small pieces
  • 1 ½ tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions 

  • Halve the cherry tomatoes and drain the mozzarella balls.
  • Tear the basil leaves into small pieces.
  • Add the tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil to a large mixing bowl.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Gently toss everything together until evenly coated.
  • Serve immediately or let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes to let the flavors blend.
