A quick and hearty pasta dish combining the flavors of a cheeseburger with the comfort of pasta, topped with melted cheddar and optional pickles.
Ingredients
Meat and Pasta

lean ground beef
2
cups
uncooked elbow macaroni
Vegetables and Seasonings

onion, finely chopped

garlic powder

teaspoon
smoked paprika (optional)

Sauce and Cheese

can (15 oz)
sloppy joe sauce

shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
Cook beef and onion: Sauté ground beef and chopped onion until browned and soft. Drain excess fat.
Season and add sauce: Stir in garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, then add sloppy joe sauce. Mix well.
Add pasta and water: Stir in uncooked macaroni and cover with about 2 cups water. Bring to a boil.
Simmer: Reduce heat and cook uncovered for 12-14 minutes until pasta is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Finish with cheese: Remove from heat, stir in shredded cheddar until melted. Serve topped with pickles if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add chopped pickles on top before serving.
