Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 3 large ripe tomatoes (sliced)
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella (sliced)
  • to taste Salt & pepper
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)

Fresh basil leaves

Instructions 

  • Arrange alternating slices of tomato and mozzarella on a platter.
  • Add fresh basil leaves between slices.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve fresh.

Notes

Use ripe tomatoes for the best flavor.
