A classic Caesar Salad with crisp romaine, tangy dressing, and crunchy croutons, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 0.5 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup croutons (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp anchovy paste
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil (extra virgin)
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Wash and chop the romaine lettuce.
  • Whisk garlic, anchovy paste, mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and olive oil to make dressing.
  • Toss lettuce with dressing until coated.
  • Sprinkle with parmesan and croutons, then toss lightly.
  • Serve immediately.
