A fun and easy appetizer combining flavorful meatballs, pasta, and fresh basil on skewers for a delightful bite.

Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 20 pieces frozen meatballs (Cooked according to package)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup grape jelly

Pasta

  • 20 pieces bowtie pasta (Cooked al dente, rinsed, dried)
  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 20 leaves fresh basil
  • 20 toothpicks toothpicks or wooden skewers

Instructions 

  • Heat meatballs as per package instructions.
  • Combine ketchup and jelly in a saucepan, heat until boiling, then simmer with meatballs for 5 minutes.
  • Cook pasta al dente, rinse with cold water, drain, and toss with olive oil.
  • Assemble skewers with one pasta, one basil leaf, and one meatball.

Notes

Use fresh basil for best flavor and serve immediately.
