Instructions
Whisk bourbon, soy sauce, and brown sugar until dissolved; stir in ginger, garlic, black pepper, and lime juice.
Pour marinade into a dish, add salmon, then cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Heat a skillet over high, add oil, then sear salmon 2 minutes per side.
Transfer skillet to oven, roast for 3-7 minutes depending on thickness, then rest briefly.
Remove skin if desired, garnish with green onions and lime wedges, then serve.
