A delicious homemade granola with vanilla and almonds, perfect for breakfast or snacking.

Ingredients

Dried ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup slivered or whole roasted almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup light agave nectar or pure maple syrup ((or a combination of both))
  • 1/4 cup oil (melted)
  • 1 Tablespoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix oats, almonds, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
  • Whisk together sweetener, oil, and vanilla; pour over oats and toss.
  • Spread mixture on baking sheet and bake for 45-50 minutes, stirring halfway.
  • Cool completely before breaking into clusters.

Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
