A quick and flavorful one-pan meal combining ground beef, colorful bell peppers, and rice for a satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Meat and grains

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cups cooked rice

Vegetables

  • 1 red bell pepper red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 yellow bell pepper yellow bell pepper chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 green onions green onions chopped

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté diced onions until softened.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked.
  • Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add chopped bell peppers and sauté for 5-6 minutes.
  • Mix in cooked rice and soy sauce; stir to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of sesame oil or chili flakes.
