A quick and flavorful dish combining seasoned ground beef with colorful peppers served over rice.

Ingredients

Meat and Vegetables

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 red bell pepper red bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 green bell pepper green bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 3 cups cooked white or brown rice
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp ground ginger
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions green onions (sliced for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Heat sesame oil in a skillet and cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Add diced peppers and onion; sauté until softened.
  • Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic powder, ginger, and red pepper flakes; cook briefly.
  • Add cooked rice and mix well. Garnish with green onions and serve.

Notes

Feel free to add more vegetables or adjust seasonings to taste.
