A quick and flavorful dish combining tender beef, broccoli rice, and savory soy sauce for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb flank steak (thinly sliced against the grain, about 1/4 inch thick)
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

Vegetables

  • 4 cups broccoli rice
  • 2 scallions thinly sliced scallions

Instructions 

  • Coat beef with cornstarch and soy sauce.
  • Cook garlic in 1 tbsp oil until fragrant, then add broccoli rice and cook until tender.
  • In the same pan, cook beef until browned, then add scallions and combine.
  • Serve beef and broccoli rice together, garnished with scallions.

Notes

Use thinly sliced beef for quick cooking and tender results.
