Instructions
Simmer apple cider with cloves for 15-20 minutes until reduced to ½ cup, then refrigerate.
Preheat oven to 180°C and prepare a mini cupcake or doughnut pan with non-stick spray.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl; whisk wet ingredients in another, then combine.
Fill the pan with batter, add chopped apple, and bake for 8-11 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Dip doughnut balls in melted butter, then coat with cinnamon sugar. Serve with whipped cream.
Notes
For best results, ensure apple cider is well reduced for a concentrated flavor.
