Instructions
Cook the butter over medium heat until browned and nutty, then cool and chill until solid.
Blend the browned butter with flour and one egg to form a dough, then chill for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 180°C, mix hazelnuts, sugar, cinnamon, and prepare apple slices with lemon and rosemary.
Roll out dough, add hazelnut mixture and apple slices, fold edges to form a rustic galette, brush with remaining egg.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, then brush with maple syrup and serve warm or cold.
Notes
Ensure the butter is browned properly for a nutty flavor.
