Ingredients

Popcorn

  • 20-24 cups Popped Popcorn ((2/3-3/4 cup unpopped kernels))

Dried Apples

  • 3 cups Freeze Dried Apple Slices ((Broken up))

Nuts

  • 2 cups Nuts (Pecans, Walnuts, or Cashews) ((Optional))

Dairy and Sweeteners

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 2 cups Brown Sugar ((Packed))
  • 0.5 cup Corn Syrup
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2+ tsp Cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp Baking Soda

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 200°F (93°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Combine popcorn, dried apples, and nuts in a large bowl or divide onto sheets.
  • Melt butter, stir in sugar, corn syrup, and salt; boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Mix in vanilla, cinnamon, and baking soda. Pour over popcorn mixture and stir to coat.
  • Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool before breaking into chunks.
