Ingredients

Meat

  • 3 pieces bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (about 1 ¼ lbs)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tbsp baking powder

Instructions 

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5–6 minutes.
  • Mix paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, cumin, salt, and baking powder in a small bowl.
  • Pat chicken dry, rub with olive oil, then season with the spice mix.
  • Place chicken skin-side down in the air fryer basket, cook at 400°F for 10 minutes.
  • Flip chicken and cook for an additional 6–10 minutes until crispy and internal temp reaches 165°F.

Notes

Let the chicken rest for 5–10 minutes before serving for best juiciness.
